Virese contains monolaurin, which is a monoglyceride ester of lauric acid and is a natural component present in many animals and plants. It is most commonly found in coconut fat and breast milk.

Organic fatty acids like lauric acid have many biological functions, including an immune supporting role. Studies have shown they may have some antimicrobial action, whilst being very safe for us to consume.

Virese is suitable for vegetarians and vegans if the capsule is removed. The dosage is 1-2 capsules daily with meals.
